Taiwan First Webinar on ESG

Taiwan First Webinar on ESG
Photo with all of the Speakers and Guests

Our first Taiwan webinar was successfully held last Friday! A big thank you to all the guest speakers and participants who joined us.

During the panel, Mr. Tsang from ESG Matters Asia, Ms. Wang from TDCC, and Dr. Lin from NTPU shared their insights on how green financial technologies have enhanced corporate sustainability and ESG values.

With the Taiwan government promoting the Green Finance Action Plan 2.0, ESG disclosure will definitely be a hot topic for investors in Taiwan. We all believe that putting effort into ESG will lead to financially sustainable growth!

A special thank you to Ms. Luo from Taiwan FinTechSpace and our founder, Glenn Frommer for opening the webinar, and Lavin Yeung for moderating.

Don’t worry if you were not able to join the webinar, we will announce the recording soon, stay tuned!

Cybersecurity Webinar with HKCNIA

We are very happy to see there were more than 170 attendants joining our Cybersecurity webinar yesterday. A big thanks to HKCNIA Wilson Kwok & Chairman Chong for leading the session and Lavin Yeung & Wai Kong Wong for sharing cybersecurity tips and risk mitigation.

The third wave of Covid-19 infections has hit HK, but companies are staying resilient in these hard times. In this webinar, we introduced some government funding programmes for which corporates can apply. Apart from Dbiz and TVP, BUD would also be a timely measure to help the companies in HK. If you need help applying for the government fundings, feel free to email us at contact@esgmatters.asia

Special thanks to Nicole Kuo for organising the event. Stay tuned for our next webinar!

New Webinar Platform

To do a good job, an artisan needs the best tools. “We tried a new webinar platform this afternoon, and found it very professional and user friendly,” said Lavin Yeung. She hosted an online training session at Cyberport Hong Kong for a world leading environmental assessment software to ESG Matters Asia customers.

Why try different tools? We believe this kind of virtual meet up is becoming a new normal, and we have to make sure we bring the best experience to our audience. As a result, We’re now actually using 3 different virtual meeting platforms to suit all of their different needs.

Also, partners and friends continue to send us recommendations on alternatives, such as ClickMeeting. We will keep on exploring and see if there are other viable platforms.

Even better, businesses can now apply for D-biz to get subsidies for the purchase of virtual meeting tools. Reach out to us if you are interested in applying, at contact@esgmatters.asia
